Historian Judith Schwarz is co-ordinator of the Lesbian Herstory Archives/Lesbian Herstory Educational Foundation. She was special consulting editor of Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies, Lesbian History Issue (1978). She lives and works in New York City.
